Nursing Informatics Specialist (AI Training)

About the Role

Your clinical expertise is more valuable than you know — beyond the bedside. We're looking for experienced nurses with health IT knowledge to help evaluate and improve AI systems being built for healthcare environments. Your real-world understanding of nursing workflows, EHR systems, and clinical documentation will directly shape how AI understands and supports patient care.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role working alongside world-leading AI research teams.

What You'll Do

  • Review and evaluate AI-generated clinical content, documentation, and workflows for accuracy, safety, and real-world applicability
  • Apply your nursing knowledge to assess how well AI systems reflect actual clinical practice and EHR usage
  • Identify gaps, errors, or unsafe outputs in AI responses related to nursing informatics and health IT
  • Provide structured, expert feedback to help improve AI model quality in healthcare contexts
  • Collaborate asynchronously with technical teams — no meetings required, work on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical background with hands-on experience in clinical informatics or health IT
  • Experienced with EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner, or similar systems
  • Strong understanding of clinical documentation workflows and nursing best practices
  • Able to analyze clinical scenarios and communicate insights clearly in writing
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience with data annotation, data quality review, or AI evaluation workflows
  • Background in nursing informatics, health data management, or clinical systems implementation
