Population Health Informaticist (AI Training)

About the Role

We're partnering with leading AI research teams to build smarter, more accurate AI models in the healthcare and public health space — and we need your expertise to make it happen.

As a Population Health Informaticist, you'll apply your knowledge of large-scale health data, analytics, and public health informatics to help evaluate, improve, and train AI systems. Your insights will directly shape how AI understands and reasons about population-level health challenges.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate AI-generated analyses of population health data for accuracy, completeness, and clinical relevance
  • Review and provide structured feedback on AI outputs related to health trends, disparities, and epidemiological insights
  • Assess the quality of AI-designed dashboards, data pipelines, and reporting frameworks against real-world public health standards
  • Identify gaps, errors, or missed opportunities in AI-generated population health strategies and recommendations
  • Translate your domain expertise into clear, actionable feedback that helps AI systems reason more effectively about complex health data

Who You Are

  • Experienced working with healthcare, public health, or population-level datasets
  • Skilled in data analysis and visualization, including dashboards and reporting tools
  • Able to critically evaluate complex health information and communicate findings clearly
  • Comfortable working independently and asynchronously on task-based assignments
  • Detail-oriented, systematic, and passionate about health outcomes at scale

Nice to Have

  • Experience with epidemiological surveillance, health equity analysis, or community health assessment
  • Background in data annotation, data quality evaluation, or AI training workflows
  • Familiarity with tools like Tableau, Power BI, Python, R, or SQL in a public health context
  • Advanced degree in public health, health informatics, epidemiology, or a related field
