Role Overview
Join our customer's team as an Amharic Language Expert and contribute to the advancement of AI language technologies.
In this role, you will combine linguistic expertise with audio and voice capabilities to support both text-based and speech-based AI systems, ensuring high-quality and culturally accurate Amharic language outputs.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate and localize content between Amharic and English
- Edit and proofread materials for clarity, accuracy, and consistency
- Perform voice-over and dubbing tasks for AI datasets and multimedia
- Record, process, and optimize audio for training data
- Annotate and evaluate language datasets for AI model training
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve language workflows
- Provide linguistic insights to refine AI systems
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Native or near-native proficiency in Amharic
- Strong command of English
- Experience in translation, editing, or linguistic analysis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with voice-over, dubbing, or audio engineering
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with AI training or NLP projects
- Familiarity with machine learning and language technologies
