Role Overview
Join our customer's team as a Laothian Language Expert and contribute to improving AI language systems.
In this role, you will apply your linguistic expertise to enhance the quality, accuracy, and cultural relevance of Laothian language data used in AI training initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and correct Laothian language data for accuracy and clarity
- Translate, localize, and edit content while maintaining linguistic fidelity
- Provide feedback to support AI model training and improvement
- Collaborate with teams to enhance language datasets and workflows
- Develop documentation and guidelines for language quality
- Identify idiomatic expressions and stylistic nuances
- Support continuous improvement of language outputs
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Native or near-native proficiency in Laothian
- Strong experience in translation, editing, or linguistics
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Familiarity with language data or AI workflows is a plus
- Ability to work independently in remote environments
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in AI language training or annotation
- Advanced degree in linguistics, translation, or related field
- Familiarity with language tools and annotation platforms
