Role Overview

Join our customer's team as an Akan Language Expert and contribute to advancing AI-driven language technologies.

In this role, you will apply your linguistic expertise to improve the quality, accuracy, and cultural relevance of Akan language data used in AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate and localize content between Akan and English with accuracy and cultural integrity
• Edit, proofread, and refine Akan materials for clarity and consistency
• Train and evaluate AI models by providing linguistic feedback
• Collaborate with AI teams to define language guidelines and best practices
• Develop and curate datasets for natural language processing applications
• Ensure high standards in written and verbal Akan communication
• Contribute to continuous improvement of language resources

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in Akan
• Strong experience in translation, editing, or linguistic analysis
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Deep understanding of grammar, syntax, and cultural context
• Ability to communicate feedback to technical and non-technical teams
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Preferred Qualifications
