Role Overview

Join our customer's team as a Luganda Language Expert and contribute to the advancement of AI-driven language technologies.

In this role, you will leverage your linguistic expertise to improve the quality, accuracy, and cultural relevance of Luganda language data used in AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate, edit, and proofread content between Luganda and English
  • Ensure linguistic accuracy and cultural relevance in all outputs
  • Curate, review, and annotate datasets for AI training
  • Collaborate with teams to develop Luganda language resources
  • Provide feedback on NLP outputs to improve AI performance
  • Create linguistic guidelines and documentation
  • Identify patterns, errors, and gaps in AI-generated content
  • Support development of Luganda digital language assets

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Fluent proficiency in Luganda
  • Strong experience in editing, translation, or linguistic QA
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
