Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Tigrinya Language Expert to join our customer's team as part of an AI training initiative.

In this role, you will apply your linguistic expertise to improve AI language capabilities by ensuring high-quality, culturally relevant Tigrinya datasets. You will play a key role in shaping how AI systems understand and generate Tigrinya language content.

Key Responsibilities

• Translate, review, and edit Tigrinya content for accuracy and cultural relevance
• Evaluate and annotate linguistic data for AI training purposes
• Provide detailed feedback to improve AI-generated language outputs
• Collaborate with linguists and project teams to meet deliverables
• Ensure consistency, clarity, and precision in all language materials
• Identify idioms, nuances, and regional variations in Tigrinya
• Maintain high standards of written and verbal communication

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Native or near-native proficiency in Tigrinya
• Strong experience in translation, editing, and localization
• Deep understanding of linguistic structure and cultural context
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced remote environment
• Familiarity with language tools or AI-related workflows

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience as an AI trainer or in language data annotation
• Background in linguistics or related fields
• Knowledge of additional regional languages or dialects
