About the Role

Mercor is seeking Bilingual Experts (English–Dutch) to support a translation review project with a leading AI research organization.

In this role, you will review AI-generated Dutch translations, ensuring that outputs are fluent, natural, and culturally appropriate. Your work will help improve the linguistic accuracy and localization quality of advanced AI language models.

This is a project-based remote opportunity suitable for language professionals with experience in translation, localization, or language quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate AI-generated Dutch translations
  • Evaluate translations for fluency, accuracy, and natural phrasing
  • Identify awkward or unnatural language and suggest idiomatic alternatives
  • Ensure language reflects contemporary usage and cultural norms
  • Detect mistranslations, ambiguity, or tone inconsistencies
  • Provide structured feedback on linguistic quality and localization

Ideal Qualifications

  • Native or near-native fluency in both Dutch and English
  • At least 1 year of experience in translation, localization, or language QA
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Fast reading comprehension
  • Ability to provide clear written feedback
