Job Summary

Join our customer’s team as a Lao Bilingual Expert and leverage your fluency in both Lao and English to deliver high-quality language analysis and transcription for video content.

In this role, you will contribute to linguistic evaluation, cultural interpretation, and communication analysis across diverse media formats. This is a fully remote opportunity offering flexibility and the chance to apply your language expertise in a meaningful way.

Key Responsibilities

• Transcribe video content between Lao and English, ensuring accuracy and proper time-stamping.
• Analyze and describe emotional tone and speaker intent with cultural sensitivity.
• Evaluate grammar, syntax, and linguistic structure in both languages.
• Explain complex or nuanced terminology clearly and accurately.
• Perform advanced linguistic tasks including tone analysis and contextual interpretation.
• Contribute to broader language and communication-related project needs.
• Deliver consistent, high-quality work within deadlines (minimum 15 hours per week).

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Fluency in both written and spoken Lao and English.
• Proven experience in transcription, translation, or language analysis.
• Strong ability to interpret emotional tone, nuance, and intent in spoken language.
• Excellent attention to detail in grammar, structure, and context.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while maintaining consistent output.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or background in linguistics, translation, communications, or a related field.
• Experience with multimedia content analysis or complex language projects.
• Familiarity with digital transcription tools and software.

Offer Details

• Hourly Pay: $45 – $95 per hour
