About the Role
We're looking for chemistry experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems tackling advanced scientific problems. Your deep domain knowledge will directly shape how AI understands, reasons through, and communicates complex chemistry — making a real impact on the next generation of intelligent tools used by researchers and students worldwide.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No prior AI experience needed — just strong chemistry knowledge and the ability to think critically and communicate clearly.

What You'll Do
- Design challenging, high-quality chemistry problems spanning areas such as organic chemistry, biochemistry, physical chemistry, and chemical engineering
- Develop clear, rigorous, step-by-step solutions that demonstrate sound scientific reasoning
- Evaluate AI-generated responses for accuracy, logical consistency, and depth of understanding
- Identify gaps or errors in AI outputs and provide structured, actionable feedback
- Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks covering undergraduate through Master's-level chemistry topics
- Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule
Who You Are
- Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree (or higher) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
- Strong problem-solving skills across multiple advanced chemistry domains
- Able to communicate complex scientific concepts clearly and precisely in writing
- Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to evaluating quality and accuracy
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently on task-based assignments
- No prior AI or data annotation experience required
Nice to Have
- Experience in data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation workflows
- Familiarity with large language models or AI research environments
- Background spanning multiple chemistry sub-disciplines
