Job description
Mercor is seeking experienced finance and accounting professionals to contribute expertise toward frontier AI training and evaluation projects focused on financial reasoning and corporate finance workflows.
This role focuses on supporting AI systems through:
- Rubric-style evaluation tasks
- Financial reasoning analysis
- LLM prompt design
- AI output evaluation
- Accounting and finance workflow assessment
The ideal candidate has prior experience completing Mercor rubric-based tasks and is comfortable evaluating AI-generated financial and accounting outputs.
Key Responsibilities
Support projects involving:

Design and refine:
- LLM prompts
- Financial evaluation rubrics
- Accounting reasoning tasks
Evaluate AI-generated outputs for:
- Financial accuracy

Apply expertise in:
- Budgeting and forecasting
