About the Role

We’ve partnered with Crosby to find experienced General Counsels for a 1-month AI Fellowship.

This role is designed for senior legal professionals with deep expertise in SaaS contracting, negotiation, and legal risk management who want to help shape the future of AI in legal workflows.

You will simulate real-world legal scenarios to evaluate and improve AI-generated outputs, directly contributing to the development of next-generation legal AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises
  • Evaluate AI-generated contract outputs for accuracy, risk, and legal soundness
  • Identify legal risks, inconsistencies, and gaps in AI responses
  • Provide expert feedback to improve AI model performance
  • Collaborate with product and research teams to refine training datasets and annotation standards
  • Contribute to best practices for AI-driven contract review systems

Ideal Qualifications

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
  • Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • 3+ years of in-house legal experience in technology transactions
  • Strong expertise in SaaS contract review, drafting, negotiation, and redlining
  • Deep understanding of legal risk assessment and mitigation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI, legal tech, or data annotation projects
  • Expertise in SaaS risk mitigation strategies
  • Publications or presentations related to legal technology
