About the Role
We’ve partnered with Crosby to find experienced Contracting Attorneys for a 1-month Commercial Contracting AI Fellowship.
This role is designed for legal professionals with deep expertise in SaaS contracts, negotiation, and redlining who want to contribute to the development of next-generation AI systems used in legal workflows.
You will simulate real-world contract scenarios to evaluate and improve AI-generated outputs, directly shaping how AI is applied in legal practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform simulated contract negotiations and redlining exercises
- Evaluate AI-generated contract suggestions for accuracy and legal soundness
- Identify risks, inconsistencies, and gaps in AI outputs
- Review AI responses to legal scenarios and provide expert feedback
- Collaborate with product and research teams to improve training datasets
- Contribute to annotation guidelines and best practices for AI contract review systems
Ideal Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- Minimum 3+ years of in-house experience in technology transactions
- Strong expertise in SaaS contract review, negotiation, and redlining
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Experience working in cross-functional teams
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI, legal tech, or data annotation projects
- Expertise in risk mitigation strategies in SaaS contracting
- Published work or presentations in legal technology
Work Details
- Work Type: Fully remote

- Commitment: 5–20 hours per week (flexible schedule)
