About the Role

Mercor is seeking Sports Analytics Evaluators to support a high-impact evaluation workflow in partnership with a leading AI research lab.

In this role, you will review and assess AI-generated research reports focused on sports analytics, including player statistics, team performance data, league standings, historical records, and game analytics.

Your evaluations will help ensure that advanced AI systems generate accurate, reliable, and data-driven sports insights.

  • Identify inconsistencies in performance metrics, trend analysis, and comparative evaluations
  • Complete evaluation tasks independently while meeting deadlines
  • Maintain consistent evaluation standards across all assigned reports

Preferred Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience in sports analytics, sports data analysis, or performance analysis
  • Experience working with player statistics and advanced performance metrics
  • Familiarity with team performance data, efficiency metrics, and win-loss trends
  • Experience analyzing league standings, rankings, and seasonal comparisons
  • Exposure to historical sports records and longitudinal performance datasets
  • Experience interpreting play-by-play data, predictive models, or advanced statistical analysis
  • Ability to source and validate sports datasets from reputable sources

Educational Background

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in one of the following areas:

  • Related analytical disciplines
