Accessibility Business Analyst

Accountabilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements for accessibility scoping activities across multiple digital projects.
• Define and refine assessment scope, ensuring alignment with established accessibility testing guidelines and business objectives.
• Identify risks, dependencies, and missing information during the scoping phase and proactively communicate them to relevant stakeholders.
• Develop detailed scoping documentation, including test units, level of effort estimates, environments, credentials, and asset information based on defined methodologies.
• Create supporting materials such as scope summaries, screenshot documentation, and execution guides to facilitate smooth assessment delivery.
• Work closely with internal teams (sales, engagement managers, and technical experts) to ensure shared understanding of scope and requirements.
• Act as a subject matter reference for execution teams, providing clarity and resolving scope-related questions throughout project lifecycles.
• Continuously review and improve scoping processes, contributing to templates, guidelines, and best practices for efficiency and consistency.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably with exposure to digital accessibility or related domains.
• Strong understanding of accessibility standards such as WCAG, EN 301 549, Section 508, and general accessibility testing principles.
• Familiarity with web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, along with basic knowledge of web and mobile development processes.
• Experience with testing methodologies (manual and automated) and ability to assess platform complexity across devices such as desktop, mobile, and kiosks.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills with the ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear, structured outputs.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, SLA-driven environment.
• Bonus: experience in accessibility testing, remediation, or collaboration with development teams on accessibility improvements.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup aligned with EST working hours.
