Biology Subject Matter Expert (AI Training)

What You'll Do

  • Design challenging biology problems and questions to rigorously test AI performance
  • Develop clear, well-reasoned, step-by-step solutions across advanced biology topics
  • Evaluate AI-generated responses for scientific accuracy, logical soundness, and quality of reasoning
  • Collaborate with researchers to refine benchmarks spanning undergraduate to Master's-level content
  • Provide structured written feedback that directly improves how AI models handle scientific reasoning

Who You Are

  • Currently pursuing or have completed a Master's degree in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or a closely related field
  • Strong command of advanced biology concepts and scientific reasoning
  • Able to communicate complex ideas clearly and precisely in writing
  • Detail-oriented with a systematic approach to problem-solving
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously
  • No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

  • Experience with data annotation, content evaluation, or quality assurance workflows
  • Familiarity with how large language models work
  • Background spanning multiple biology sub-disciplines (e.g., genetics, microbiology, physiology)
