Role Overview
We are hiring a Data Annotation Specialist with an engineering background to help train AI models on real-world engineering workflows and procedures.
This role focuses on breaking down engineering tasks into structured steps and evaluating model performance against real-world engineering logic.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate AI model responses to engineering workflows and procedures
- Break down engineering tasks into structured, step-by-step processes
- Label, proofread, and improve engineering-related outputs
- Provide feedback to improve model reasoning and accuracy
- Apply style guides and suggest improvements for edge cases
Requirements
- 3+ years of engineering experience (civil, mechanical, electrical, chemical, or related)
- Strong understanding of engineering workflows and systems
- Experience with:
- CAD tools
- Material billing systems
- Product lifecycle management (PLM)
- Background in engineering (Bachelor’s or higher preferred)
- Experience in real-world engineering projects (design, prototyping, manufacturing)
Work Details
- Part-time (minimum 16 hours/week)
- Fully remote (Canada only)

Compensation
- 30 CAD/hour
