Role Overview
Join as an E-commerce Simulation Expert and help shape AI-powered shopping experiences.
In this role, you will leverage your e-commerce expertise to design realistic digital retail environments, simulate user behavior, and train AI systems to better understand and respond to consumer shopping journeys.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build synthetic digital stores with realistic product assortments and pricing
- Create and maintain structured product catalogs with high data quality
- Develop diverse shopping scenarios and user prompts reflecting real-world behaviors
- Build evaluation rubrics and conduct QA on AI-generated outputs
- Analyze model performance and identify failure patterns
- Collaborate with AI and data science teams to improve training datasets
- Document processes and contribute to best practices in AI simulation
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in e-commerce operations, merchandising, or catalog management
- Strong expertise in product catalog structuring and data normalization
- Experience with AI/LLM prompting, evaluation, or training (preferred but valuable)
- Strong analytical thinking and QA mindset
- Deep understanding of consumer behavior and online shopping journeys
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality datasets
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in AI training or simulation/data design roles
- Knowledge of e-commerce trends, retail analytics, or digital merchandising
- Familiarity with LLM evaluation frameworks and iterative improvement methods
