Job Summary
Join our customer’s team as a Cross-Platform Engine Developer (Cocos2d-x) and contribute to building high-performance 2D and lightweight 3D games across mobile, desktop, and console platforms.
In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Cocos2d-x and C++ to develop scalable, optimized, and immersive gaming experiences for a global audience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain engine-level features using Cocos2d-x and C++.
- Optimize rendering performance, memory usage, and platform integrations.
- Architect scalable and maintainable game systems suitable for global releases.
- Collaborate with designers, artists, and QA teams to refine gameplay features.
- Diagnose and resolve complex cross-platform engine issues.
- Stay current with game engine advancements and propose improvements.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly within a distributed team environment.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong professional experience with Cocos2d-x and C++.
- Solid understanding of graphics pipelines and performance optimization.
- Experience deploying games to iOS, Android, desktop, and console platforms.
- Deep knowledge of cross-platform development challenges.
