Job Summary

Join our customer’s team as a Video Editing Expert and help shape how the next generation of AI learns professional editing workflows.

In this role, you will work end-to-end on real projects using OpenShot or Shotcut, demonstrating your authentic editing process, decision-making, and creative problem-solving skills. Your work will directly influence how AI systems understand professional video editing practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute complete video editing projects—from raw footage organization to polished final export—using OpenShot or Shotcut.
• Demonstrate your real editing workflow, including asset management, sequencing, pacing, and creative problem resolution.
• Clearly articulate your editing rationale in written and verbal formats for AI training purposes.
• Optimize workflows for efficiency and high production quality.
• Troubleshoot technical and creative challenges while documenting your approach.
• Participate in feedback sessions to refine video editing best practices.
• Contribute to a knowledge-sharing environment focused on process transparency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Advanced expertise in OpenShot or Shotcut (mandatory).
• Proven ability to complete full projects from raw footage to final export.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling and editing craftsmanship.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills for managing digital assets and timelines.
• Meticulous attention to detail and proactive problem-solving.
